Hi All,

Got up to a wet rainy morning only to see out at the edge of my lawn what looked like someone had hit a dog.  Decided to have my first cup of coffee before I went out to get my paper.  When I went out, this is what I saw, Yup!!!! a dead beaver:



Took a look from another angle:



Called the town office to see who might handle such matters and they told me to call the State Police who would get hold of the game warden.  I did just that and the State Police said they only handled large animals and that it should be taken care of by our Town Road Crew.

Called the Town Office back and let Stacy know what they had told me.  Don happened to be there and said he would take care of it.  Guess they don't consider a big beaver a big animal at the Game Warden's Office.

Wasn't long as you can see below, Pat Pigeon came to my rescue:
