Just a short while back, a stray bullet went through Mildred Warren's window.  Not sure if we have an ordinance here in town that prevents people from shooting guns here within the town limits.

Meanwhile Police in Essex are investigating just how a stray bullet ended up hitting a house.

At 12:30 Sunday morning, police responded to a home on Curve Hill for a bullet that had entered the home. One person was home at the time but they weren't injured. Police say investigation determined that the person responsible was likely attempting to shoot a deer. That individual has not been located. Anyone with information is asked to call Essex Police at (802) 878-8331.
