Vermonters are the only folks I know who would call someone from Colorado a Flatlander!

As I was born in Alaska...I like to consider anyone from the lower 48 a flatlander!

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

North...

As an person born in Vermont and have lived all of my life in Alaska....
I would agree.....

BUT......... I think Vermont is French for Green Mountains and those there vermonts are awesome.

Mountains here go way high and have no green. Height,,, but no green.
As an Alaskan, I appreciate the green... and the fall colors.

I also say to Vermont, "GET A REAL MOUNTAIN!!"

Flatlander to me means, if you gut a caribou and you have to pull it out.....you are a flatlander..

If it rolls out,,, you are good to go. (no flatlander)
