Sugaring Is Coming To A Close

I was talking with a sugarmaker and was told that they plan to close down their operation this coming Thursday night.  When I asked how successful a year they had, they said they expected it would be an average year, although they had not made quite as much fancy syrup this year.  The 70 degree weather this weekend will definitely do it in.

Ed's pine Syrup was disgusting.  I hear he didn't get much sap from the telephone poles either.
