The latest signed DRB minutes have been uploaded.  One of the discussions in this meeting was the addition of another lot that might obstruct the view of Mt. Mansfield of an existing home.  One of the oldest cautions I have heard is "Never by a home for its view."  All around the state similar situations have come up and I am not aware that any home was ever not allowed because it obstructed the view of another home, although I could be wrong.

Henry, when I had my house build in the early 90's I was advised by zoning that I could not obstruct the views of the houses behind me.  This was taken into consideration when building.  What has changed in the zoning laws since then??
