CHRISTINE ‘CHRISSY’ DIANE PALMER
MILTON – Christine “Chrissy” Diane Palmer, 26, died unexpectedly of natural causes at her home Wednesday morning, Sept. 13, 2006.

Chrissy was born on March 26, 1980, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., the daughter of Ronald and Diane (Caputo) Palmer.

She graduated from BFA-Fairfax, Class of 1998.

During Chrissy’s high school years, she was very active as a part of the Youth Group and Worship Team at the Church of the Rock in St. Albans. More recently, she was a member of the Community Bible Church in South Burlington where she was also a member of the Worship Team. She had a passion for Jesus and loved worshipping her Lord.

She graduated from CCV in 2004 with an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts, and in the spring of 2005, graduated from the Masters Commission program after one year of completion, at the Community Bible Church.

Chrissy had a very loving and compassionate heart. She truly enjoyed her work as a Patient’s Attendant at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Her gift of compassion carried over to her patients. She was planning on beginning studies to become a Licensed Nurses Assistant.

She loved sunflowers and she was a sunflower to all who knew her. She was an avid scrapbooker and loved making cards to bless others. She loved her dog Jaysun. We will all miss her joyful presence.

Chrissy is survived by her parents, Ronald and Diane Palmer of Milton; by her brother, John Palmer and his wife, Kristine of Hyde Park, N.Y., by her sister, Kimberly Fankhauser and her husband, Markus of Bern, Switzerland; by her maternal grandparents, Don and Gloria Caputo of East Meadow, N.Y.; her nephews and niece, Garrett, Quinn and Eden Palmer; by her Uncle Don and Aunt Regina Caputo and their two children of Levittown N.Y. and Aunt Valerie and Uncle Edward Towsley and their five children of Fishkill, N.Y. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, John and Anne Palmer; and her uncle, Carl “ Chuck ” Caputo.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Community Bible Church Youth Group, 2025 Williston Road, South Burlington, Vt. 05403.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at 10 a.m. in the Community Bible Church located on Williston Road in South Burlington. Burial will follow in the Milton Village Cemetery.

Arrangements are being made by the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
