MRS. MARION G. MILLER COLCHESTER — Mrs. Marion G. Miller, 83, died Saturday morning, Oct. 7, 2006, after a lingering illness. Marion was born Aug. 25, 1923, in St. Albans, daughter of the late Luella and Chester Raine. Marion leaves her loving husband, Rupert, of 60 years, a sister Ernestine Barnaby of Fairfax, and three sons, Alan and his wife Carole of Charlotte, N.C., Rick and Lucille of Merrimack, N.H., and Wayne and Cindy of Newport News, Va. Marion also had six grandchildren, Sean Miller, Ruth-Ann Logsdon, Captain Timothy Miller, Josh, Sarah and Savanna Logsdon. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Vermont Affiliate, 434 Hurricane Lane, Williston, VT 05495; or to the American Cancer Society, 121 Connor Way, Suite 240, P.O. Box 1460, Williston, VT 05495. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service in the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winooski.
