4 Couples Over 50 Years Married Renew Vows Yesterday

Among the couples who renewed their vows yesterday that were married over 50 years were Buzz & Alice Collins, Married for 57 years, John & Betty Collins, Married for 56 years, Shirley & Madeline Minor, Married for 56 years and Jim & Jean Groseclose, Married for 51 years.

Didn't have a paper & pencil with me, but believe Jim & Karen Minor have been married 25 years, Bob & Kathy Bessette 31 years and Pat & Laurie Queor, 13 years.  Tim & Jeannette Wills also renewed their vows, but do not remember how many years it was.

I think anyone who can get past the first year or two is probably deserve a little kudos. Even though many are still "starry-eyed," I think newly-weds have a lot to overcome that was never anticipated when planning the wedding! Then start adding kids, pets, & etc. to the mix...
