Ahhhh Yes!!! One of my favorite things to go to although I had thought of not going down, because I knew I would definitely get some doughnuts, baked beans and maybe even a pie if I did. My daughter Mary Kay went down and she dropped me off some baked beans as well as some delicious doughnuts - The doughnuts even included the fried doughnut holes that went with them - I have got to get out there and put them in the freezer, before there are none left to freeze.
Elaine Kirkpatrick & Nancy Ladd were at the check out when I got there - Nancy wanted to make sure I knew that the next Senior Luncheon, the third Tuesday of November would have a teacup auction - This is where Senior Members bring in stuff and tickets are placed in a cup beside it - but I am going to have to find out just how that does work.
Mary Taylor, Bev Taylor and Janet Geer are at the food table - Boy, I sure do love this table - They even had a Maple Pie there as well as many other goodies.
Caught Sally Sweet in her Christmas Jacket - Sally usually brings beans & doughnuts to these events, as well as other goodies
There was a full room of items there, but I had just gotten back from the folks getting ready for the Turkey Dinner and my back was telling me to get home and sit down, but I want to go to the Old Academy Senior Center and grab a few quick photos down there too where they are having their fall bazaar.
