Local Restaurants Closed Tuesday Night

My Grandson called me last night around 4 p.m. and asked me what I was doing as he would like to take me out to dinner.  He is down at UVM and was able to bring his truck up and park it for a fee on Campus until Christmas.  He asked if The Country Pantry would be OK and I said yes.  Well, we got down there and the lights were out, so it apparently was closed.  Last week one day I drove by and saw one car parked out back - This was during the day - So I drove in and it obviously was closed that day also.  I didn't get out and see what their scheduled hours of business were.

When we saw that was closed, we decided to head out to St. Albans and go to Gem's Place in the J C Penny/Post Office Mall in St. Albans - Guess What!!  That was closed also.  We ended up going to the China Buffet next door to it for dinner.

Anybody have any idea what the hours of business are for these two restaurants??

I have been in that mall at various times of the day and week and Gem's has never been open.

For winter hours the Country Pantry is now closed on Tuesdays. Gems place is out of business
