LAUGHTON E. "TODD" BRIGHAM III FAIRFAX - Laughton E. "Todd" Brigham III, 69, of Fairfax, died peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, and is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Todd was born in Burlington on Oct. 7, 1942, the son of Laughton E. Brigham Jr. and Margaret (Devino) Brigham. Following his education at Cathedral/Rice Memorial High School, he served his country for the United States Air Force. On March 4, 1978, he was married in Hinesburg to Sharon M. Hall. Todd was employed in his early years at Brigham's Dairy. He then was employed at E. B. Whiting for 20 years, and at IBM for 21 years, from where he retired. Todd enjoyed camping, horseback riding, hunting, and working on cars. He was a certified mechanic with the U.S. Air Force. Todd mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Todd is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon M. Brigham; their children, Christopher, Roderick, Michael, Paul and his wife, Lisa, Robert and his wife, Marie, and Lisa; grand- children, Corey, Brian, Faith, Timothy, Yanabear, Zoie, Andrew "A.J.," Susan, Melanie, Michael, and Alex; his siblings, Mary Campbell, Charles Brigham, James Brigham and his wife, Susan, and Martha Senna and her husband, Norman; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The Brigham family wish to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Dennis Sanders and staff, and to the St. Albans Health and Rehab for their hospitality, care and kindness. Family and friends are invited to a Time of Fellowship on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the United Christian Assembly, 100 Raceway Rd. in Jericho. A celebration of Todd's life will be held at the United Christian Assembly on Saturday, Feb. 18th at 11 a.m. Arrangements are with the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St. in Winooski.
