MILTON, Vt. -
A truck driver was seriously injured last night after his big rig rolled over the top of him.

It happened at about a quarter after five on a gravel drive off North Road in Milton near Harrison's Sugar House.

Police say workers were removing a flat-bed construction trailer from a truck when the truck began to roll backwards.

Sydeny Beyor of Highgate attempted to climb back onto the truck to stop it, but he fell off and was run over.

The 67-year-old was rushed to Fletcher Allen with serious injuries.
