TODD LEON PARTLOW

SWANTON/ST. ALBANS CITY - Todd Leon Partlow, age 46 years, a native of Swanton and more recently of Farrar St. in St. Albans City, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia, Pa., following a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. His loving wife, Carlene, and nephew and niece, Jason and Shari Partlow, were by his side. Born in St. Albans City on Nov. 9, 1965, he was the son of Connie Brow. He attended Swanton schools, graduating from Missisquoi Valley Union High School in 1982. On Sept. 7, 2002, he married the former Carlene Howard who survives him. Todd was the founder, owner and operator of Todd Partlow Home Improvements and in earlier years worked for East Shore Dry Wall. He lived life to the fullest and loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed car races, especially at Thunder Road and Airborne, and especially loved driving his 1965 Mustang around the Swanton Village Green. In addition to his wife of 10 years, Carlene of St. Albans, Todd leaves his daughter, LeAnn Partlow stationed with the United States Marine Corps; two stepdaughters, Heather Lesage of Winooski, and Ashley Lesage and her fiance, Shawn Paya, of St. George; two grandsons, Keagan Paya and Connor Lesage; two brothers, Spencer Cline Jr. and Morris Partlow of Swanton; two sisters, Darlene Cline of St. Albans, and Dorraine Partlow and husband, Joe Marchant, of Swanton; his mother, Connie Brow of Swanton; mother-in-law, Hilda Howard of Westford; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Richard Howard Jr. of Westford, Chris Howard Sr. and wife, Sharon, of Fairfax, John Howard of Westford, Debbie Manning and husband, Kevin, of South Hero, and Tammy Howard and longtime companion, Mitchell Bunnell, of Fairfax; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his faithful canine companions, Rex, Nippet and Molly. Todd was predeceased by his grandmother, Florabelle Brow in 2009; father-in-law, Richard Howard Sr. in 2007; and canine companion, Spike in 2008. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 11 a.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 65 Canada St., Swanton. Father Thomas D. Nadeau will be the celebrant and homilist. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Partlow family lot in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Gifts in Todd's memory may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, 30 Sunset Meadows, St. Albans 05478, or to the Cancer Treatment Center of America, 1331 East Wyoming Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19124.
