What A Difference 25 Years Makes

Back in 1987, I planted 5 little Blue Spruce Seedlings that were about 6 to 9 inches tall. Never even looked at the wires overhead and all of a sudden, 25 years later, they create a hazard because they are intertwined with the high power electrical lines that come to both my house and Mary Kay's house. Mary Kay contacted the power company last year and they came up and took a look at them and told us they would be back to do some trimming. I took some photos of the Sub Contractor from New England Tree Service as he did it - Asked him if they shut the power off to do this and he told me that they use insulated tools - Didn't take them very long - They kept one-lane traffice by the house and they were going to try and contact Bob Sweet to see if they could dump the mulch out in the back of his field - I am sure it would make good mulch for someone. They headed off up the road to cut some more trees and branches -
