Lorraine (Bradley) Tessin

Lorraine (Bradley)Tessin, 95, passed away peacefully on April 8,2013 at her home in Fairfax, with family by her side.   Lorraine was born in Roslindale, Massachusetts on November 08, 1917.   She was married to William Tessin in 1941 who predeceased Lorraine in 2003.  They celebrated 62 years of marriage.  Lorraine was a long time resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts.  She loved gardening, cooking, bird watching, ice cream and swimming in the ocean. She was excited to see the return of spring and the first robins chirping again in the back yard.  Lorraine had a unique gift to recognize and appreciate the special qualities of others and make them feel loved by her presence.  Her generous heart, brilliant smile, and sparking blue eyes filled her home with love, fun, family and friends.  She leaves her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with the knowledge that they were truly loved.

She is survived by her sons, Dana of Fairfax, and Wayne (Judy) of Plymouth MA. and her grandchildren Craig (Elizabeth), Heather (Simon Hajnasr), Trevor (Lisette) and 6 great grandchildren: Elise, Bradley, Joseph, Anna, Katie, and Jack.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Franklin Country Home Health Agency for their support over many years and especially in her final days.

A private service is being planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers condolences to the family can be posted on the A.W. Rich Funeral Home web site: http://www.awrfh.com or you may consider a gift to Heifer Project International in Lorraine’s name.
