Karleigh Jane Baumann, 21, of Johnson, Vermont, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Burlington, Vermont.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Karleigh came to the United States when she was three and a half months old. She graduated in 2010 from Veritas Christian Academy in Sparta. Karleigh was a Junior at Johnson State College, where she was majoring in Creative Writing.
Karleigh was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Daniel and Dorothy Baumann.
The daughter of Scott and Branda Baumann, Karleigh is also survived by her brother, Devin; her maternal grandparents, Bob and Geraldine Johnson; and two aunts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th, at 5:30 p.m. at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton. A memorial visitation will be held prior to the service 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
