Ms. Katherine Hartson, daughter of Roy and Dorothy Hartson of Fairfax, and Mr. Andrew Holm, son of Jeff and Amelia Holm of Fairfiel, were united in marriage on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in a beautiful outdoor wedding on Bellevue Carriage Road in St. Albans. The ceremony was officiated by an uncle to the bride, Mr. Ernie Flanders Jr. of Fairfax. In attendance were many close friends and family to the bride and groom. The couple chose a non-traditional ceremony, including a sand ceremony to unite the couple and the groom’s three children, Naomi, Jasmine, and Wyatt Holm. In addition, they chose a Celtic handfasting ceremony widely practiced in ancient times in Ireland and Scotland. The bride is employed as the Loan File Administrator of Peoples Trust Company of St. Albans. The groom is a foreman with North Country Fire Protection. The happy couple resides in St. Albans.
