Information on the incident changed while en route to a vehicle that had crashed and was on fire.
Upon arrival, State Police identified the Operator as John Crepeau 42 of St. Albans. Estimated speed at the time of the crash was 72 mph when Johns vehicle went off the southbound shoulder of I 89 North striking a guardrail. The vehicle then appeared to have rolled landing back on its wheels in the southbound ditch. The vehicle then caught on fire. John was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and appeared to have sustained very minor injuries. John was released from the scene by medical personnel.
While on scene, it was found that John's License was under criminal suspension. John was issued a citation on scene for operation with a criminally suspended license.
