JAMES PATRICK DAIGNAULT

RIPTON — James Patrick Daignault, 54, of Ripton, passed away unexpectedly as the result of an automobile accident on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013.

James was born on March 25, 1959, in Burlington, the son of John P. and Jannette (DuBrule) Daignault. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1977. James had a passion for mud bogging, was always fascinated by engines, motors and vehicles, and was well known for his “Monster Trucks“. He was an active participant in the 4x4 Wheel Drive Club and will be missed by his friends at Herring Family Farm Mud Bogs.

James is survived by his mother, Jannette Daignault of Burlington; daughters, April (Daignault) Rand and her husband, James, of Milton, Michelle Daignault of Middlebury, Kristina (Daignault) Anderson of Whiting, and Racheal Liberty of Leicester; sons, James Daignault Jr. and his wife, Jaclyn of Lima, Ohio, and Paul Daignault and Paul’s mother, Heather Champagne of Ripton; grandchildren, Austin Rand, Kayden Rand, Haylee Rand, Patrick Rand, Justin Anderson Jr., Kaitlyn Anderson, Dylan Anderson, Cody Anderson, Devin Anderson, Isabella Bailey, Joann Daignault, James Daignault III, and Jason A. Daignault; brother, John Daignault of Fairfax; sisters, Janet (Daignault) Dufrane and her husband, Jerry of Burlington, and Joan (Daignault) Jorczak of Manchester, Conn.; and two nephews, Alex Jorczak and Tanner Jorczak.

He was predeceased by his father, John P. Daignault Sr.; and nephew, Jason P. Daignault.

Visiting hours will be on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with prayer services beginning at noon at the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., in Winooski.

I don't know if John is a member of the forum but I extend my heart felt sympathies to him and his family on such a tragic loss.
