Its been a busy day for Maxine -- A Chipmunk Has Moved In


A distress call is sent out to notify Maryann & I we have company


Look at that, he thinks he is a bird


Now he is trying to eat bottom side up


Hour after hour she watches him

Now how do you get rid of a Chipmunk -- The woods is quite a ways from the house - Have no idea how he found his way here

They make squirrel proof bird feeders with long slippery cones above them that squirrels aren't supposed to be able to get into.  My mom has one, and lots of squirrels.  She said they tried to get into it a few times, failed, and finally just gave up.  The birds can still perch and get to the seed.
