Amy A. Derosia
June 19, 1965 - December 18, 2013 Milton, Vt - Amy Derosia, 48, died on December 18, 2013, peacefully in her home. She was born on June 19, 1965 in Long Island, NY, the youngest child of Jane Quinn Page, of Milton, Vermont and the late Robert Bentley Page. Amy attended Essex High School, and graduated from Bellow Free Academy in Fairfax. She attended and graduated from Katherine Gibbs College in Boston Mass. Amy spoke fondly of her childhood, growing up on the family farm, on Osgood Hill Road in Westford. She loved her horses, Sheba, Casee and Rusty Blaze - actually she loved them all. Amy founded and acted as President of APT Environmental, of Milton Vermont. She was an expert at the regulatory requirements and handling of the hazardous waste stream. She grew the business to serve VT, NH, and NY, and special assignments as remote as Kentucky. Amy was known for her quick wit, attention to detail and dedication to her business. Her most important passion was for her family and love of her family. She is deeply missed. Amy is survived by her husband John, her son Connor Page, and her daughter Jane Derosia of Milton, Vt. Her Mom; Jane Q. Page of Milton, VT, her siblings; Marta Page and her son Ethan, James "Jimmy" Page and his wife Lucy and their children; Robert and Seamus, Beth Page and Steven LaMonda, and their children; Andrew and his fiance Chelsea Jewett, Cristina, and Jessica, all of Milton, Vt.. Sibling Susan Sweet, of Deland, Florida and her children Besset and wife Jenny Sabourin, and Sy Sabourin, Anne Page, and her partner Priscilla Drake; of Thailand, and Anne's children Toby Sherman and Satchel Page. Her father in law and mother-in law; John and Patty Derosia of Campton, NH, brother-in-law; Larry and Jackie Derosia, and their children Nicole and Andrew of Belmont, NH. Aunt in law Marcia DeRosia of So Burlington Vermont, and her Special Friend and adopted "Grampa" Ralph McEntee of Milton, Vt. Visiting hours will be held in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 5 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 24th at 11:00 am at St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street in Milton. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery.
