Theresa Mary Minor, former resident of Fairfax when her husband Vernon Leo Minor worked on The Nichols Farm for about 18 years passes Away.
(March 22, 1919 - July 15, 2007)

Theresa Mary Minor
Sheldon - Theresa Mary Minor, 88, a life long area resident passed away early Sunday July, 15, 2007, at the Heaven Health Care Facility. She was born in Sheldon, Vermont on March 22, 1919, the daughter of the late Warren and Georgianna (Juaire) Plouffe. On August 31, 1941, Theresa married Vernon Leo Minor, who preceded her in death on May 16, 1995.

She was a former resident of Franklin Homestead in Franklin and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin and St. Anthony’s Church in Sheldon. Theresa was also a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her daughter; Sylvia Minor of Florida, a son; Doug Minor of Tennessee and five grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Theresa was preceded in death by two brothers; Rene and Raymond Plouffe.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Sheldon with the Reverend Bernard Bechard, Pastor of St. Anthony’s and St. Mary’s Catholic Churches officiating. Interment will follow in the Minor family lot. Theresa’s family will receive friends on Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 10:30 A.M. in the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
