ANNUAL FALL CONFERENCE
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18
ST. JOHN VIANNEY PARISH HALL
SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT

Registration is between 8:30 am and 9:30 am.
Arrive early and visit our Genealogy Store.

Directions: to St. John Vianney Church Parish Hall
From I-89 take exit 14 East on Route 2 (Williston Rd).
Turn right on Hinesburg Rd., St. John Vianney is on
left at 160 Hinesburg Rd. There is a large parking lot
behind the church and facilities for handicapped.

Our Speakers:

9:30 am Muriel Chabot Normand, MSN, Weaving Genetics and Genealogy
Quebec is the world's largest founder population.  The effect of genetic
drift has resulted in 28 or so genetic disorders that occur with unusually
high frequency.  Muriel will look at the more common disorders as well.

11:00 am  Annual meeting

11:30 am  until 12:30 pm  Lunch break

12:30 pm Mona Andree Rainville, A member of the French-Canadian Genealogical
Society, former investigative journalist and member of the Bar of the Province of
Quebec.  She will share her research over the past ten years documenting the
lives and history of the Filles du roi to get to the historical truth.

2:00 pm  15 minute break

2:15 pm  Military historian, USA Retired Colonel David Fitz-Enz, co-produced and wrote
the television program, The Final Invasion for PBS and authored the companion book,
The Final Invasion, Plattsburgh, the War of 1812's most Decisive Battle.  If the invaders had won, they could have taken Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.  He will be available for book signing.
