DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE: 2013 Toyota Truck
DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: Front left tire, left side fenders (front/rear), windshield, left side mirror


WEATHER: Good
ROAD COND: Good


SUMMARY OF CRASH: On November 18, 2014@1800 hours, Vermont State Police
responded to 330 VT Route 22A in Orwell; near VT Route 22A/73 intersection.
The primary cause of this collision was the result of an unknown
operator/vehicle traveling south on VT Route 22A and crossed the centerline on
the roadway and side swiped V#1, who was traveling north on VT Route 22A.  OP#1
was unable to identify the vehicle that collided with him on VT Route 22A.  OP#1
advised after he was side swiped at approximately 45 MPH, the unknown vehicle
kept driving south and left the scene of the accident.  V#1 sustained moderate
contact damage causing scratches across both front and rear left side fenders,
windshield cracked, left side mirror broken off and front left tire was blown
from the impact.  No injuries were sustained from the impact.  Anyone with any
information regarding this incident please call Trooper Young with the Vermont
State Police New Haven Barracks at 802-388-4919.
