Hi All,

Well, one day last week we decided to go to McDonald's for lunch - Could have gone to St. Albans, Essex or Milton - Decided we would go to Milton.

Bad choice indeed.  Not really sure what they are doing over there, but it sure is raising havoc with the traffic.  Actually they are blacktopping the main stretch.  I could see what are probably the locals cutting off on the side streets, but I didn't dare do that as about the only thing I know about Milton is Route 7, Railroad Street and The Middle Road.  We finally, after what seemed like about 45 minutes made it from downtown Milton to McDonalds.  After we finished eating, I could see down the road where cars were lining up again in the direction I was headed to get out of there.  Took a right down by Kinneys and got myself on the Middle Road, went through the parking lot where the restaurant is/was on the corner then up Railroad Street and I was outta there.  Whew!!!

I think before I venture into Milton again, I will call Steve & Jimmy Minor at the Funeral Home and get the Road Traffic Conditions.

Henry Raymond
