Let Down After The Series

Hi All,

Well, normally I have something to put up on the forum most mornings, but after a number of late nights watching the World Series, I really have nothing this morning. Thankfully there are no deaths and no bad news here in Fairfax, at least that I am aware of - On the other hand, I didn't receive any e-mail with great news about Fairfax either.

Now although perhaps none of you have noticed any changes, Larry Ward has made some changes that have been very beneficial to me. He has upgraded the forum so that I no longer have to monitor the Registrations. The 10 or 12 fake registrations that I have been getting daily, he tells me someone is simply spamming my forum in an attempt to automatically post links to their sites to help with search engine ranking. Since these are not real people and only a computer program there are a couple things that can be done to not allow them to complete registration.

He has made those changes and at least for the last two days, no new fake registrations have appeared. Those of you that are legitimate real people should have not problem, and if you do and are unable to register, just send me a note and let me know.

By the way, although not all visitors to my web sites visit the forum, there were over 1100 people that visited one or the other of my web sites this past Sunday - I often wonder how so many people find it, but by typing vtgrandpa or Henry Raymond in Google and click on "Go" , now I know how I get a lot of questions from people that I never heard of across the country.
