Much of Vermont could see wind gusts of up to 50 mph this afternoon, according to a wind advisory issued this morning by the National Weather Service in South Burlington.  The state also remains under a flood watch through Thursday morning.

I took a drive down River Road last night around 4 p.m. to see how our new River Road Bridge was holding up - The water was not high, however didn't appear to be moving much that you could see as the snake-like curve in the river below towards the river was filled with broken up ice.

Weather is supposed to get colder, which should stop an early Mud Season.
