I went by the falls today and saw the water rushing over the falls with clouds of steam rising - A truly beautiful sight, however I didn't have my camera with me.  Many thanks to Katelyn for sending these and sharing them with us.  Katelyn has sent me photos before, so I decided I would start an album for her which has two sizes of photos in it which you can view by clicking on the following link:

Hello Henry,

I heard a lot of rain last night. So I decided to go down to the falls and take some pictures. A lot of water, don't you think?
Regards,
Katelyn Feerick

As I drove up Route 104 yesterday I could see the raging falls.  What a thing of beauty, but also what strength that water has.  I understand the Lamoille River up around Johnson may be flowing over its banks, but haven't heard of any flooding up in Cambridge.  When I put the photos up of the building of the power plant back in 1904 and realize much of that was all built by hand, they sure did a great job - Must have been quite the engineers.

I know I'vew mentioned this before, but.......

There is a cement platform thing that goes over the large pipes feeding the power staion. I have stood on that platform when water is flowing over the falls. A very dangerous thing-you probably shouldn't do that. But you do feel the power of water as it crashes within 12 feet in front of you.
