Heather Marie Mansfield

Fletcher - Heather Marie Mansfield, 27 passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Sunday, April 13th in Cambridge.  Heather was born on September 7, 1980 in Morrisville, VT.  She is the daughter of Scott Mansfield of Burlington and Linda (Coolum) and David Ainsworth of Fletcher.  Heather graduated from BFA Fairfax in 1998 and was employed by Villanti and Sons Printers, Inc.  Heather had a love of nature and the outdoors.  She enjoyed NASCAR, playing pool, a warm bonfire and good friends.  Heather will be remembered for her independent spirit and fierce determination.  She never compromised her beliefs and stood up for what she believed in.  She was a loving daughter and our best friend.  The sparkle in her eyes and her beautiful smile will be in our hearts forever.

Besides her parents, Heather is survived by her stepbrothers, Jacob and Joseph Ainsworth of Fletcher, her half-siblings, Tyler and Laura Mansfield.  Her grandfathers Philip Mansfield of Cambridge and Paul Ainsworth of Eden.  She leaves behind her beloved dog, Marly Baker, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2008 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM Fairfax United Church, Fairfax with Rev. Elizabeth Griffin officiating.  Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Heather’s memory to the American Cancer Society 121 Connor Way P.O. Box 1460, Williston, VT 05495-1460.  Arrangements are by John D. Workman, A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main St. Fairfax, VT 05454.
