Used to have a rain gauge, but unfortunately winter crept up on me and the rain froze and broke the glass.  They are not expensive and for we Vermonters who are always interested in Weather, makes a good past time. If I could just remember to pick one up.

They are talking floods, but to be honest with you, we have had rain here at the house, but I have seen heavier rain.  When I mowed the lawn on Tuesday, the ground did not seem that wet.  Anyone have an idea how much rain we have gotten recently??

Here on Buck Hollow I recorded .59 of an inch yesterday ( 07/23/2008 ) and .07 of an inch so far today.
