Barbara B. Bellows was the sister in law of Joyce McCuin who lives here in town:

WINDSOR, VT:
Barbara Bogue Bellows passed away Monday, May 23rd, 2005, at her home, two months shy of her 82nd birthday, after a lengthy battle with lymphocytic leukemia. Ten minutes prior to her passing, Barbara received a phone call from her grandson, Patrick, who is serving overseas in Kuwait.
She was born in North Cambridge, Vermont on July 6th, 1923 daughter of Alvin and Reba (Buker) Bogue.
Barbara attended school in Cambridge, graduating from Cambridge High School in 1941. She attended cosmetology school in Hartford, Connecticut and had her own shop in Jeffersonville, Vermont and later in Windsor, Vermont.
The Bogue family, once taunted as "The Tallest Family in the World", produced several six-plus footers and Barbara at 5'11" stared on the Cambridge High School Basketball Team.
She married Charles H. Bellows in 1950 and they lived in Fairfax, Vermont for three years before moving to Windsor in 1954.
She will be sorely missed by her family, because she was a good wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her warm heart and great sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Two sisters, Catherine and Ruth and a brother, Robert predeceased her.
Barbara is survived by her husband of Windsor, two daughters, Pam Duling, of Windsor, Peggy Howe of Brownsville, Vermont, one son, Bert Bellows of Sparks, Nevada, seven grandchildren, Ron and Monica Howe, John and Patrick Duling, Matt Hall and twins, Sarah and Hannah Bellows. Also by one great grandson, Jordan Michael Howe, one brother, Maurice Bogue of Warwick, Rhode Island, several nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Following cremation, interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Alliance of Vermont & New Hampshire, 46 South Main Street, White River Junction, VT 05001, whose efforts in Barbara's last days will always be appreciated.
The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is in charge of arrangements.
