Grimes - Heyer Wedding

COLCHESTER – Amy Lynn Grimes, daughter of Brian & Kristine Grimes of Roseville, Calif., and Matthew Jason Heyer, son of Jason & Kim Heyer of Fairfax, were united in marriage on Sept. 20, 2008.

    The ceremony was performed by Lee Minor in Colchester at 5:30 p.m. Flowers were by Silver Toad Floral Design, Essex Junction.

    The bride’s attendants were Tara Poindexter and Sally Olson. The Maid of Honor was Sara Heyer, sister-in-law.

    The Best Man was Aaron Minor. Ushers were Justin Wills, Justin Cobb, and Charles Rowse.

    A reception was held at The Hampton Inn, Colchester, with music provided by Super Sounds.

    The bride graduated from Swan Valley High School, Saginaw, Mich., and Vermont Technical College, Williston. She is employed at Dr. James Schechter in Essex Junction as a dental hygienist.

    The groom graduated from Fairfax High School. He is employed at Shearer in South Burlington as Assistant Body Shop Manager.

    The couple took a wedding trip Lake Placid, N.Y. They have made their home in Fairfax, Vt.
