Doubt that any of you lead as sheltered a life as I do, but noticed a couple of young men from our Patriots Football Team with Mohawk Haircuts.  It took me back some 60 years or so when I was in high school, attending a Parochial School in St. Albans.  We didn't have a big class, 14 boys and 14 girls, however, we decided to give the good sisters a shock, so 13 of the 14 boys in the class decided we would all get what was called a "Butch" haircut at that time.  We made name tags with "The Bald 13" written on them and marched into class on the following Monday morning.  Mother St. John Gabriel tried to show no emotion when she saw us - We never did find out what she was thinking, but I bet it wasn't good.

Why did we do that??  I have absolutely no idea, except the fact that I enjoyed it so much, that to this day, some 60 years later, I still do my best to have a butch with what I have left for hair.  Don't think I will attempt the Mohawk however.  Nothing there to work with, so guys, enjoy it while you can as for me, the Mohawk is an impossible dream.  The photo below is a reference photo and not an actual local photo of a couple of firemen getting a Mohawk haircut.
