Hi Henry,
I saw these cedar waxwings on the Cherrierville Rd today. This flock will probably clean the apples off this tree before they move on to another feed source. Sometimes the fruit they eat makes them drunk, when the fruit has fermented. I only see a flock every other year or so. They are really beautiful birds.

Great photos, Joanne!  Often I see cedar waxwings  eating the fruit in the plum trees outside the Collins Perley complex, but I have never seen them this early.  And years ago, in seminary at Boston Univ, I watched to very drunk birds--a robin and a blue jay--squabbling over the berries on a vine ( i know the name but for the life of me can't remember how to spell it) climbing the  main building.
