JoAnne Wilkins does a lot of travelling around Fairfax so I asked her what the high water situation she observed today were and she said:

"The ditches were full. Beaver meadows, by the Matt McNall farm was flooded, and the meadow off the Austin Rd were covered in water. The river did not seem much higher. The meadows on Rte. 104 have not flooded, and do not seem near to being flooded. The ice had not gone out at the dam when I went by around 3 pm. I expect it takes a day or so for the water from the snow melt to get to the River.

JoAnne"

By the way at 8 p.m., it is snowing here in Fairfax.
