Judy A. (King) Moore

St. Albans - Judy Ann (King) Moore, 57 passed away following a long illness on Thursday February 26, 2009 at her sister’s home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in St. Albans, VT on October 13, 1951 daughter of the late Lester and Irene (Mayo) King.  She graduated from BFA – St. Albans class of 1969.  Judy had been employed at Aubuchon Hardware in Swanton as a clerk for 8 years and Sunhill Foods in Swanton until her illness prevented her from working.  Judy was devoted to her family and they always came first.  She loved her collection of cobalt blue glass and cows and enjoyed finding a new piece.  She looked forward to watching her collection of movies especially all the westerns staring John Wayne.  Judy will be missed by all those who loved her, shared special times and everyday life.

The family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful and comprehensive care administered by Dr. Robert Hamill and his staff.

She is survived by:  Her two sons:  Thomas Moore and wife Shannon of Georgia;  Christopher Moore and Sandy Reynolds of Highgate Springs;  Her two brothers:  Mike King and wife Sue of St. Albans;  Jeff King and wife Karen of St. Albans Bay;  Her four sisters:  Cindy King and life partner Laurie McMahon of Georgia who lovingly opened their home and were kind caregivers during Judy’s last months.  Sandra Rundstrom of Swanton;  Bonnie King of Winooski;  Connie Graham and husband Roy of Georgia;  Four grandchildren:  Mackenzie;  Cadence;  Curtis;  Sierra and a very special Aunt Elaine Larivee of Enosburg as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Many friends including:  Gary & Sue Carton;  Doreen Chaffee;  Evelyn Martin;  Maggie Lafar;  And Very special friend and loving caregiver, Martha Graham and husband Robert of Highgate.  And Little care givers Chasity Pretty, Cheyenne McDade Burnor.

She was also predeceased by:  Her brother Richard King;  Her sisters:  Shirley Gates;  Linda Paquette;  Nancy King  And her favorite companion her black lab “Buddy”.

Visiting hours will be held at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Monday March 2, 2009.  Funeral services will be held at the Georgia United Methodist Church, Georgia, VT on Tuesday March 3, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Kerry Cameron co-officiating with Reverend Doctor Henry K. James.  Burial will follow in the family lot in Hope Cemetery, Georgia, VT.  Memorial donations in Judy’s memory may be made to the Jim Bashaw Fund – Catastrophic and Cancer Fund, care of Olivia LaPorte NWMC, 133 Fairfield St. St. Albans, VT 05478.  The family invites you to view Judy’s life tribute and share your memories and condolences by visiting www.awrichfuneralhomes.com.  Arrangements are by John D.
