David H. Hotte
(October 26, 1944 - March 17, 2009)


Fairfax: David H. Hotte, 64, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at his home. Born in Cornwall, Vermont October 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Simon J. & Edith (Naylor) Hotte. David was employed as a Project Superintendant for Pizzagalli Construction Company for 36 years. He was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School and a member of St. Albans Lodge # 1566 B.P.O.E., where he enjoyed playing pool. He also enjoyed gardening.

David leaves his former wife, Dawn J. Hotte, a daughter, Kristy Hotte, and two step -daughters, Patricia Marte and Bambi Graham; six grandchildren; brothers, Stanley Hotte of Vergennes; Fred Hotte & wife, Deborah, of Bristol and Reggie Hotte of Saratoga, New York, a sister, Theresa Wright & husband ,Roger , of Vergennes, several nieces, nephews, cousins and his pet cat, BoBo. He was predeceased by a brother, Renie Hotte, a sister, Louise Hubbell and sister-in-law, Rose Hotte.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, in the Heald Funeral Chapel, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans, followed by a funeral at 7:00 PM with Rev. Mr. Duane Langlois, Deacon at Holy Angels Parish officiating. Spring interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Middlebury, Vermont. Memorials contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Vermont Chapter, 434 Hurricane Lane, Williston, Vermont 05495 or American Diabetes Assoc., Burlington VT-NY Office, 1 Kennedy Dr., Suite L8, South Burlington, Vermont 05403. Assisting the Hotte family is Lucien J. Hayes of the Heald Funeral Home and Cremation Service in St. Albans. Private on line condolences may be made through www.healdfuneralhome.com.
