I would say that everyone of us Old Time IBMers remember Mitchell Clark's father Bruce.  A truly nice man and co-worker.  I was quite surprised to see that one of his sons lives right here in Fairfax and in fact is a rather close neighbor of mine.  Our sympathy goes out to Mitchell and his family on the death of their father Bruce.

ESSEX JUNCTION - Bruce E. Clark, 75, died on Sunday, April 5, 2009, in Fletcher Allen Health Care. Bruce was born in Hardwick, Vt. on Sept. 26, 1933, the son of Philip and Myrtielyn (Ainsworth) Clark. He was a graduate of Springfield High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life, Amelia Slizewski on Nov. 21, 1959. Bruce was employed until his retirement at IBM as a Quality Assurance Manager. He enjoyed hunting and was an excellent cabinet maker. He is survived by his wife Amelia Clark of Essex Junction; his daughters, Leslie Leedy and her husband Stephen of Bakersfield, Jeanne Christiano and her husband Jon of Holden, Mass.; his sons, Mitchell Clark and his wife Dana of Fairfax, and Spencer Clark and his wife Mary-Lynn Walkonen of Huntington; grandchildren, William and Brian Leedy, Bruce, Kaitlin and David Christiano, Michelle and Phillip Clark, and Asa Clark; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Frances Smith and brother Bradley Clark. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, in the Ready Funeral & Cremation Services, Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr., Essex Junction. Visiting hours will be prior to the service on Wednesday, April 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In Bruce's memory donations may be sent to the Essex Rescue, One Educational Drive, Essex Junction, VT 05452.
