After a gloomy and chilly first half of the week, the weather will be cooperating through the weekend.  A storm system will pass to our south today, perhaps touching off an afternoon shower near the Massachusetts border.  We'll have a good deal of sunshine over the weekend, though Easter will be a bit chilly with highs only in the 35 to 45-degree range.  Temperatures will start to warm up early next week.

Always think of the superstition that my Dad used to mention.  Don't ever dig in the dirt on Good Friday.  Someone close to you will be badly hurt - Have no idea where that one came from.

When I was reading Mike Cain's blog about the bird, I thought about another one and that was if a bird came and hit the window, somebody in the family was about to die.

Well, there are a couple cheery ones to think about.
