I understand that Green Mountain Power is about to build the largest solar panel installation in Northern New England.  I spoke with a man here in town who plans to put up some solar panels and he told me one thing to remember up here in Northern Vermont is not to put them on the roof, as if you want to get any use of them in the winter, you have to keep the snow off from them.

Green Mountain Power's installation will cover one acre - Wonder how they will keep the snow off them in the winter??
