Vermont Days 2009, June 13th and 14th, is the weekend to celebrate the arrival of summer and enjoy a free sample of Vermont’s excellent fishing, state parks, forests, and historic and cultural resources.

All weekend, all Vermont State Park day areas, state forests, state-owned historic sites, and the Vermont Historical Society Museum (Montpelier) will be open for FREE admission.

Saturday, June 13th is free fishing day – the day everyone is encouraged to go fishing in Vermont (no license required).

Sunday, June 14th, is a second day of free admission to state parks, state-owned historic sites, and a perfect day to explore Vermont's lively forests.

Don't forget all Vermont public libraries have a "Check Out the Parks" pass.  It will allow a car with up to 8 people into most state parks, with day use areas, for free!  All libraries also have passes to the ECHO center in Burlington which reduces the admission to $2 a piece for 5 people!
