Hi All,

Ron Mapes tells me that Fairfax Football is doing well with a lot of enthusiastic youngsters.

This past Monday they played against Milton's JV squad and won, 28 to 0.

Ron tells me he is not much of a sports writer, but managed to put something together on the website along with photos from the game.

Photos of the game can be found at:

http://bfafootball.fairfaxpatriots.org/milton_17oct05.html

And a photo of the team can be found at:

http://bfafootball.fairfaxpatriots.org/team.html

Ron says further, "The young men are doing extremely well for not having the years of experience some teams have. The team works hard and make the competitors varsity team earn every yard and when we play the JV squads we win.

The BFA team is on the edge as far as where they fit in. Meaning that
Varsity level play is fast and these young men are learning fast and
show immense improvement each time they play. The JV games are a bit
slower and these guys control the field. So far BFA Fairfax Footall has
won 3 of their JV level games with one more left against CVU. The 4
varsity games were lost, but not by a disgusting lead. These were hard
games, with some great plays.

The kids can use all the support from the community they can get.   This level of football is better than the Pro's because the players want to play and are not worried about making that million $ salary."
