iPHONE APPS
Posted for Thursday July 16th...........................

Sorry, a little self-indulgence, if you can call it that.
Love the iPhone.
Looking for apps, or applications can be fun.
WCAX has an app. You get the top 16 news stories of the moment.
I also have USA Today for news. Sci-Fi Wire for all the goings-on in the sci-fi world.
I just downloaded an app called weatherstick. It shows a stick that predicts the weather. Dry, and the stick points up, wet weather, and it points down. Right now, it's pointing slightly down.
Pandora radio will play music of groups that you choose. I chose The Police, and it plays Man in A Suitcase from the Zenyatta Mondatta album.
Google Earth is one I want to play around with some more.
All the ones I mentioned are free. Some do cost money, but that's up to you.
The technology that is happening today is just amazing.
I still say 20 years down the road, you will be wearing a wristband that will be taking your vital statistics, and recording them on your personal handheld appliance.
'Warning. Irregular pulse and heartbeat. Calling 9-1-1."
It may happen.
