We have a notice in our Church Bulletin that asks us to turn off our Cell Phones in Church.  Now for the Cell Phone Technically Competent Users, this is not a problem, for me, well, I don't see any off button.  Not usually a problem though as Maryann, who is about the only one that ever calls me on it, knows I am in Church, so wouldn't call me unless it was an emergency.

Unfortunately, although it hasn't happened yet, people dialing the wrong number don't know that.

This new phone that I have, in the middle of Mass last night, started ringing, however, it only rang once.  About 3 or 4 minutes later it rang again, just once.  Although I tried to pretend it wasn't me, there weren't very many people in Church and whether they heard or not, I have no idea.  It was the low battery notifier that made it ring about every 2 or 3 minutes.  Oh Well, it could have been on a Sunday when the Church was full.

I am sure Father Julien knows I am not smart enough to know how to turn off my phone.
