The Vermont Department of Health is poised to start offering public vaccine clinics for the H1N1 swine flu.

The first of 37 clinics are due to start on Tuesday and continue into January.

The first clinics are for those who are most at risk of complications from the swine flu, including pregnant women, caregivers for infants younger than 6 months, anyone ages 6 months to 25 years and people ages 25 through 64 at high risk for complications.

The first Clinics are being held in Middlebury, Manchester Center and Colchester.
