ENOSBURG, Vt. -- Vermont State Police said they are investigating a bank robbery in Enosburg.
 
Police said the TD Banknorth on Main Street was robbed not long after 11 a.m. Friday. Police said a lone male went into the bank and showed a knife befre demanding cash.

He fled the bank on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

Police describe the robber as a white male in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, a medium build, wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt with a skull design on the front. The man wore a yellow ski hat with tassels, a black scarf coverng part of his face, black gloves -- possibly a motocross circular design -- camo pants and carried a plastic grocery bag.

Police said the man matches the description on a man involved in the Chittenden Bank robbery in Swanton Village Oct. 27.

There were no reported injuries. Anyone who has information about the robbery is asked to call police at 802-524-5993. A reward of $5,000 has been offered in the case.

INCIDENT:    Armed Bank Robbery

DATE & TIME OF INCIDENT:  November 13, 2009 @ approximately 1107 hours         

LOCATION:    TD Bank, 427 Main Street in Enosburg Village
ACCUSED:  Unknown 
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 
This morning, at approximately 1107 hours the Vermont State Police received a report of an armed bank robbery that had just occurred at the TD Bank on Main Street in Enosburg Village.  A lone male entered the bank, brandished a knife and demanded cash.  The male fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The male is described as follows:

· White male
· Age – 20’s
· Height approximately 5’7 – 5’9
· Medium build
· Brown hooded sweatshirt with a unique skull design on the front (see attached photos)
· Yellow ski hat with tassels worn under the hoodie
· Black scarf covering part of his face
· Black gloves, possible motocross style with circular design
· Camo pants
· Carried a plastic grocery bag

The male subject matches the description of the same male involved in the Chittenden Bank robbery in Swanton Village that occurred on October 27th.   

There were no reported injuries and there were two customers in the bank at the time of the robbery. 

Anyone who may have witnessed the event, seen any suspicious activity, vehicles or persons in or around the area of the bank is asked to call the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks at 802-524-5993.

There is a reward up to $5,000 for anyone who may have information leading to the arrest of the person involved.
