2.1 Degrees Here On The Fletcher Road

Haven't been out to get my paper yet, but it looks like one of those nice clear cold days.  Weather Man said last night that even though it was cold, there would not be much wind, however when it gets near 0, it doesn't take much of a breeze to make it feel a heck of a lot colder.  I must have had another five inches of fluffy snow yesterday.  Went out to get my mail and paper after supper and we were having quite the snow storm here.

I love trekking out to the mailbox in bad weather to get my mail and find all I have is an ad for Omaha Steaks.  Somebody gave us some for Christmas a number of years ago, so we are on their mailing list.  Guess they don't realize that people on retirement income don't buy Omaha Steaks.  I usually justify my trip by saying, "Thank God - No Bills."
