Hi Henry,
I saw a green and yellow helicopter, today. It was headed north over Cherrierville Rd at about 3 PM.
Would this be a State of Vermont helicopter looking for someone?
I didn't hear anything on the radio.
JoAnne

JoAnne - Let me know if this is what it looked like - This is a Vermont State Police Hellicopter:

JoAnne sent me a note and tells me that the helicopter she saw did indeed look like the one I have the photo of, so apparently it was a Vermont State Police Helicopter.  I saw or heard nothing on the news about any search going on.

I was going to say a DART helicopter might make sense if someone was critically injured in a car crash - with all these roads still in bad shape.....but if it was a police chopper..... not sure.

I don't believe Vermont has a helicopter.  Those markings appear to be New Hampshire State Police.

It might very well be as on the same web site I clipped the photo, there was a DART helicopter.  DART was called for the accident up in Berkshire because there were no ambulances available, but it was no fly weather for them.  Fortunately the teenage girl under the load of silage was uninjured.
