Ed came to my house to fix the furnace two days before Christmas. What a great guy! Funny. Smart. The heat was back on in less than an hour and he agreed to order a new 'what-ch-ma-caulit' to install after New Year's.

Let's let him go to deer camp, he's worth waiting for.

In order to get hold of Ed I had to look everywhere for a phone number because I didn't know his last name and couldn't  remember the name of his company, I only could remember that he lived in Fletcher(not even a Fairfax voter!). Finally I called  Henry and he knew the name and number off the top of his head. It might be a good idea to make a list of local business people and post it on this site.  That's a good way to buy local.

I like the idea of a local business directory too.

Ed,

How close did you have to get???

That is OLD SCHOOL hunting!!! Awesome!

I have a funny story of me and a friend shooting his 30 cal black powder rifle at Loons on a lake.
We were all liquored up, high school, week end. (Steve Nicholes)
Sorry Mom.

BTW, no Loons were harmed.....imagine that!

Mom,
You have the facts wrong.

The Trooper DID NOT confiscate the weapons.

The charge was NOT for discharging within city limits.

The charge was discharging within a GAME PRESERVE... Potter's Marsh.
No GAME was harmed. We shot at water filled gallon milk jugs.
