Well, Mary Kay and crew got our lawns all picked up.  She had about 3 or more loads of tree limbs - We have one willow which is always a problem, but a lot of limbs fell during one of the high wind storms last winter that took a lot of shingles off my roof also,

I usually only put lime on my lawn, but it never ceases to amaze me at how beautiful and bright green it eventually gets, but that is Vermont.

I haven't rushed to trim back my Blue Hydrangeas, even though this very strange early spring makes you think it is late, it actually is only April 26th.

I know its spring though as I look across the road and see that JR Young's spring calves are arriving on the scene.  Looking forward to seeing them in the pasture just across the road.  They are such a joy to watch and truly part of our Vermont Scenery.

We are taking a trip down to Burlington today to Cardiology Associates so that Maryann can get her Pacemaker checked.  She gets it checked every year and they let her know how much time the battery has left.  This is one of those checks that you don't put off as her Pacemaker operates 100% of the time due to a lack of communication between the upper and lower parts of her heart.  Thank God for the good weather and not that expected starting tomorrow.

Got off to a bad start this morning.  I have a regular routine when I get up - Saves making a lot of big decisions early in the morning.  I get up, turn on my coffee pot, pour myself a glass of orange juice and take my medicine then turn on my computer to see what is new with the world.

Well this morning, went to get the orange juice and suddenly realized I was supposed to get some yesterday, so dressed and drove down to Steeple's for orange juice.  Realized as I was driving down to the village, its been a long time since I drove down this road that early in the morning - Anyhow, back to the rest of the morning routine now.

Especially thankful for all the kindness shown me this weekend with the work done on my yard and hope all of you have a fantastic day.

Henry Raymond
